Garrison Systems Training — Posterior adhesive restorations
Posterior adhesive restorations: clinical solutions for highly complex cases
- Hotel Barceló, San José
- 25 h · 3 days
- Dr. Jonathan Vargas
Why this program
The program was designed to simplify and standardize highly complex restorative treatments by integrating biomechanics, occlusion, function and aesthetics through a multidisciplinary, conservative approach.
Over three days, it combined diagnosis, documentation and planning with hands-on practice in direct and indirect restorations, margin elevation, biobase, fiber reinforcement and matrix systems.
Who should attend?
Dentists and advanced dental students seeking to improve their clinical practice and deliver excellent restorative treatment through simplified protocols.
Curriculum
Day 1 — Documentation, diagnosis and structural analysis
- Clinical photography, documentation and planning.
- Dental analysis, diagnosis and morphology.
- Biomechanical analysis.
- Relationship between operative dentistry and orthodontics.
- Hands-on photographic documentation, planning and dental analysis.
- Structural analysis of the tooth in different clinical scenarios.
Day 2 — Biobase, margin elevation and fiber reinforcement
- No-post, no-crown, no-endodontics philosophy.
- Intermediate- and high-complexity margin elevation.
- Structural loss, cracks, weakened cusps, Ribbond and build-up.
- Biomimetic alternatives for structurally compromised teeth.
- Fiber reinforcement: technique and principles.
- Biobase in vital and non-vital teeth without posts.
- Overlays and table tops.
- Matrix systems for different clinical scenarios and cervical restorations.
Day 3 — Direct and indirect restorations
- Direct restorations: how, when and why.
- Matrix systems and instruments.
- Absolute isolation and adhesion.
- Indirect restorations: how, when and why.
- Preparations and pre-orthodontic bioaesthetics.
- Hands-on direct proximal restorations.
- Preparation for indirect restorations.
- Bonus track: tools for patient acquisition and loyalty, and sales techniques.
