Biopsies and Histopathological Studies
Oral tissue sampling for histopathological diagnosis of suspicious lesions, part of our oral cancer prevention protocol.

Oral cancer examination is an integral part of our complete evaluation. When we find suspicious lesions on gums, tongue, palate, floor of mouth, cheeks or neck, we perform an incisional or excisional biopsy to obtain a tissue sample that will be analyzed by a specialized pathologist. This procedure is performed minimally invasively, with local anesthesia and precise surgical technique to ensure a representative sample. Early histopathological diagnosis is fundamental for successful treatment of malignant or premalignant lesions.
